What should we
being focusing our attention on?
Question: What are
you focusing your mind on today?
MLB’s website has posted the Mitchell Report on-line today (Dec.13) at:

My first thought is which sport
is next to being investigated?
I have heard many Pastors state,
focus on God and not on the negative things in life.
With that let’s take a look at the words, ”I AM” and
see what the Bible has to say.
We can find the story of “I AM”
in the stories of Moses on the mountain.
Where
else can we find stories of “I AM”?
In Acts 13, John the Baptist states that he (John) is NOT
the one.
23 "From this man's descendants God has brought to
promised.
24 Before the coming of Jesus,
John preached repentance and baptism to all the
people of
25 As John was completing his
work, he said: 'Who do you think I am? I am not
that one. No, but he is coming
after me, whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.'
In the Book of Revelation we see that Jesus is referred to as “I am the First
and the
Last” and “I am the Living One.”
The IVP Commentary states the following regarding Rev.
1:17-18:
“. . . ("I am the Alpha and the Omega . . .
who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty")
. . .
These words do not quite prepare us, however, for what follows: I was dead, and behold
I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of
death and Hades (v. 18). It is as if "the Almighty"
and he who was "pierced" (1:7) and
"freed us from our sins in his blood" (1:5) have merged into one.
The mighty angel turns out to be Jesus himself--Jesus raised from the dead and
clothed in divine
splendor--but John cannot know this and we do not know it, until he so
identifies himself . . .
The self-identification, though not by name, is unmistakable. . . . .”
